The title of the publication:
Scaling from cell to system: Comparing Lithium-ion and Sodium-ion technologies regarding inhomogeneous resistance and temperature in parallel configuration by sensitivity factors
In this study, we conducted a sensitivity analysis to evaluate the impact of non-uniform contact resistances and unequal temperatures on the current distribution in parallel cell configurations. Both lithium-ion and sodium-ion batteries were compared by examining the sensitivity factors of the maximum current and the difference in state of charge in response to incremental variations in the inhomogeneity. Our findings reveal notable differences between the cell technologies, which must be considered when selecting a battery type for specific applications.
