You can reach the Garching Research Center with the U6 underground railway line (station: “Garching Forschungszentrum”), on bus routes 230 and 690 and via the A9 highway (exit: “Garching Nord”).

The Chair of Biochemical Engineering is located on the 3rd floor of Institute 4 in the Mechanical Engineering building.

You can reach the Garching research center via the A9 Autobahn. Exit at “Garching Nord” and follow the signs to the research center.

Alternatively, you can reach the Garching research center via Freisinger Landstraße.

From the city center (e.g. Marienplatz station), you can reach the Garching research center by taking the U6 U-Bahn line toward Garching (end of the line). Coming from the north (e.g. Freising Station or Flughafen München), take the S1 S-Bahn line toward Neufahrn and transfer to bus line 690.

From Munich Airport, you can reach the Garching research center via the A92 (toward Munich). Take the Neufahrn interchange toward Munich (A9) and exit at “Garching Nord.”

Alternatively, you can reach the Garching research center via Freisinger Landstraße. From the airport, take A92 as above, then exit at “Freising Süd” and drive toward Munich until you reach the Garching research center.
