Master degree program Industrial Biotechnology

The master degree program Industrial Biotechnology is part of the Munich School of Engineering (MSE). Courses will be offered by the Academic School of Engineering and Design, Chemistry and Center of Life and Food Sciences Weihenstephan.

Bioscientific fundamentals for engineers and process engineering fundamentals for natural scientists will be imparted in the first semester. The subject-specific education follows in the second and third semester. The educational topics are Enzyme Engineering, Metabolic Engineering, Bioprocess Engineering, and Bioseparation Engineering, respectively. In the fourth semester follows a master thesis project in Industrial Biotechnology.
