Regenerative Energy Systems (RES) at the 6th Central European Biomass Conference CEBC 2020

The 6th Central European Biomass Conference will continue to network users, companies, researchers, developers, political decision-makers, raw material producers and traders in 2020. The conference took place from 22-24 January at the Messe Graz. With more than 1500 participants from all continents, it is one of the world's largest events in the industry.

The 6th CEBC has the motto "Greening the Strategies" and examines whether the greening strategies of the district heating, gas and electricity industries can be put into practice to achieve a serious exit from fossil fuels. In the course of the current debates on sustainable energy policy, future markets and closing cycles played a major role at the conference.

In addition, contributions and workshops were presented on the topics of bioeconomy, decarbonisation, biomass and residue potentials and pyrolysis.

The Professorship RES was represented at the conference with several presentations and scientific posters.
