Last week (18.04.22.-22.04.22) our graduate students Ana and Marleen travelled to Atlanta, Georgia, for the biannual Pseudomonas conference. Ana was able to give a talk (in front of 240 participants!) about her PhD project, called CHEAP, where she studied metabolic burden during heterelogous protein production in Pseudomonas putida. Marleen presented a poster about her former Master Thesis, where she characterized a T7 RNA polymerase system in Pseudomonas putida. They were both very happy that they could attend an in-person conference, and they immensly enjoyed the interaction and discussion with their fellow scientist!
