We are happy to welcome M.Sc Oleksandr Pavlenko, M.Sc. Yongdu Wang and M.Eng. Tianxu Cao to our team!

Oleksandr Pavlenko was born in Kyjiw, Ukraine, in 1997. He received the B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree (with high distinction) in electrical engineering from Technical University of Munich (TUM) in 2021 and 2023, respectively. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Chair of High-Power Converter Systems, TUM School of Engineering and Design. His research interests include modulation of multilevel power converters, control of electric drives and soft-switching converters.

Yongdu Wang received the B.S. degree from the School of Electrical Engineering, Shandong University, China, in 2018, and the M.S. degree from the Lab of More Power Electronics Energy Systems, Shandong University, China, in 2021. He worked at State Grid in China until July of 2023. Now he is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Chair of High-Power Converter Systems, Technical University of Munich. His research interests include multilevel converters and advanced control of grid-tied power converters in high power wind farms.

Tianxu Cao received the B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in electrical engineering from the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, Chengdu, China, in 2020 and 2023. He is currently pursuing the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering with the Chair of High-Power Converter Systems, Technical University of Munich. His current research interest includes wide-band-gap semiconductor devices, loss modeling of power converters, and model predictive control.
